The festival takes place in Taets Art & Event Park, Zaandam.
The festival starts at 12:00 PM and ends at 23:00 CET. Keep in mind that the doors close at 21:00 CET.
The festival is 18+, and it is mandatory to present a valid ID (driver's license, passport, identification card, ID) for entry. Just a photo of any of the above will not suffice. Please note that Backstage entrance is 21+.
It's not possible to leave the festival grounds and re-enter afterwards. If you do leave you will have to show a valid ticket again to enter the festival grounds.
The doors will close at 21:00 CET, and entry will not be permitted after that time.
The Canvas area will be fully covered by a large tent, and Compose will take place inside the Black Box.
All facilities are cashless, but you can purchase a cash card at the event at dedicated cash card lockets. This is a debit card that you buy at the token stand and load with cash, allowing you to make payments with a card at the event.

The Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events. Even if a festival event is sold out, you can still access the event with your ADE Pro Pass wristband (limited access with sold out events). During ADE there are over 500 festival events and hundreds more cultural and conference events you can enter with the wristband. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for ADE Pro wristband holders. This means that, for some of the more crowded events, you have to arrive early to ensure attendance. Once capacity is reached, ADE Pro holders will be let into the event on a one in-one-out basis.

Smoking is prohibited indoors or under canopies. Only smoke in the designated outside area.

If you don't feel safe or notice something suspicious, please send a message or picture to this number: +31 6 13 35 39 86. You can always talk to any employee that is around (First Aid, security).
During the event our social safety team will be present, recognisable by back vests. We will also have a social safety hub at the event, where a member from the social safety team is always happy to assist you. If you feel overwhelmed during the festival, the social safety hub is also the place where you can enjoy some calm and quiet, stimulant free.
No Art encourages self expression through fashion, but we also uphold a dress code that not includes tracksuits, soccer shirts and/or clothing belonging to (a) certain group(s) and will be refused entry. This applies to the full festival: general admission as well as VIP.
Our staff reserves the right to refuse entry to individuals not complying with the dress code.

These items are prohibited to bring to the festival: own food and drinks, aerosol cans, glassware, cans, large or heavy bags (a light (back)pack or small backpack is allowed but will be checked by security at the entrance), pets, inflatable objects, umbrellas, drugs (except prescribed medication with a medical certificate), selfie sticks, fireworks, weapons and firearms, dangerous objects (including aerosol cans and tear gas), professional photo, film, and other recording equipment.
It is not allowed to bring any sort of professional recording equipment.

Due to late personalization, tickets can only be downloaded 24 hours prior to the event.

No Art uses sealed tickets to ensure a fair ticketing experience for everyone. These tickets cannot be resold through unofficial channels or secondary markets, effectively preventing scams. All ticket resales must go through our verified partner, Ticketswap.

SONA is shaped by its community, and together we’re creating its future in Amsterdam with care for the neighborhood and its surroundings. If everyone attends the event by car, there will be major traffic jams, you will get stuck in traffic, and it will take you much longer to get to the event. In addition, it causes a lot of nuisance to the surrounding area of the event. This is something we are committed to prevent so that we can continue to organize great events for you in the future. This is the reason why this is a car-free event - with no car and restricted taxis/Ubers access. To give you something in return we provide fast-lane entry for everyone that arrives by bike or shuttle bus.
Take the shuttle bus from Zaandam station (7 min approx.) or Amsterdam Sloterdijk station (15 min approx.) to the venue. The buses at both stops leave every 10 minutes. The buses keep driving round trips the entire duration of the festival, so it is easy to find your way (back) anytime! Keep in mind that the last trains at Zaandam station depart between 00.00 and 1am, plan your trip in the 9292 app.
To make sure your (electric) bike is safe, the bicycle parking is closed off and constantly overseen by our staff. We have special lockers for bike batteries, which you can use. We are looking into creating possibilities to charge your bike at the event. Further information will follow soon.Find the bike parking by following the signs.
If you visit the festival by taxi or ordered transport follow the instructions of the traffic controllers to the venue. Please note: if everyone comes by car be prepared for major traffic jams and delays to get to the festival.
This is a car-free event. There are no parking spaces available. Parking in the surrounding areas is not possible due to road closures.

That’s why this is a car-free event - with no car and restricted taxis/Ubers access. By asking you to come by shuttle bus or bike, we want to give you something in return: exclusive access to a fast-lane festival entrance. To make sure you have access to the fast-lane entrance you’ll have to pick-up your exclusive fast-lane wristband at the shuttle bus stop (Zaandam or Amsterdam Sloterdijk) by showing your shuttle bus ticket when you enter the bus or with your bike at the bicycle parking.
If you visit us by touring car, it is mandatory to inform us about this by sending an email to info@sonaworldwide.com, as the spots for touring cars are limited and only available with registration
Lockers will be available on-site. You can purchase a locker in advance, and we will send an email with a link to all ticket holders once they are available. At the festival, you can also buy a locker using QR-codes and payment methods like iDEAL. Additionally, there will be an information point for lockers at the festival.
